Driving out of Bur Dubai
Bur Dubai sits close to two of the Creek crossings — the Al Maktoum Bridge and the Al Shindagha Tunnel/Corridor — so getting onto Sheikh Zayed Road toward Downtown, the Marina or JBR is quick once you're out of the immediate souk area. Traffic through Bur Dubai itself is dense during the day, particularly around Meena Bazaar and Al Fahidi, so allow extra time if you're driving through rather than parking and walking.
Parking directly in the souk streets is limited and mostly metered (Mawaqif). Multi-storey car parks near BurJuman and Al Fahidi are the more reliable option if you're leaving the car for a few hours.
Fuel is Special 95 for standard models and Super 98 for AMG and performance trims. Salik toll gates apply on Al Maktoum Bridge and Al Garhoud Bridge if your route uses them — charges are added to your final invoice.
