What drives the price up or down
• Season. December to February is peak. June to August is the cheapest window to rent a supercar in Dubai.
• Duration. A seven day booking usually costs about the same as four or five separate days.
• Model. The Spyder carries a premium over the Coupe. The STO and Tecnica, where available, sit higher again.
• Mileage. If you plan a Hatta or Abu Dhabi run, buy the extra kilometres up front rather than paying the per kilometre rate at return.
• Deposit type. A card hold is released faster than a cash deposit, which typically takes 21 working days after the fines window closes.
Which Lamborghini Huracan should you rent?
Huracan EVO Coupe
The default choice and the one most people picture. A naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10 producing 640 hp, all wheel drive, and 0 to 100 km/h in roughly 2.9 seconds. The fixed roof makes it the quieter of the two inside at motorway speed and the better car for a long Sheikh Zayed Road stint or a Hatta day trip.
Huracan EVO Spyder
Same engine and performance, with a soft top that folds in 17 seconds and has a speed threshold of 50 km/h. In Dubai, the importance of a roof is greater than meets the eye. From November to March, the opportunity to take the top down and hear your V10 as you enjoy the Jumeirah Beach Road evening drive is why many people book this car. In July, you will close it and use the A/C as this is the only sensible choice.
Huracan STO and Tecnica
Track focused, with rear wheel-drive and a far more raw edge. More stiff suspension, a louder cabin and much more attention when driving on the street. One of these is for people that know what they are getting into and want the sharpest version of the car. Renting an EVO is the better choice for your first supercar rental, because it is a more comfortable car.

If you are a UAE resident
• A valid UAE driving licence.
• Emirates ID.
• A credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit.

• Your home country driving licence.
• An International Driving Permit, required for most nationalities. GCC licence holders and citizens of a number of countries including the UK, US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Australia and South Africa can usually drive on their national licence alone.

Salik, fuel and traffic fines explained
Three charges target first time renters in Dubai, but all of them are easy to avoid.
The first is Dubai's automated toll system Salik. Each gate charges AED [X] and there is no option to pay these charges at the roadside. The crossings are recorded against the car and charged to you after your rental is over, usually after a period of [X] days.
The fuel policy is full to full. The Huracan is handed over with a full tank and needs to be returned the same way. Dubai's V10 will likely need a lot of fuel in city traffic. Fines for breaking traffic rules are recorded against the vehicle, and even retroactively charged to the rental company (after a hassle-free period of around [30] days). Anything that is issued during your rental period is charged to your security deposit along with an administrative fee. Dubai has extremely advanced speed cameras and there is no buffer you should drive this fast within.
The best roads to drive a Huracan in Dubai
Jumeirah Beach Road at sunset
Low speed limits, beautiful surroundings and the best place in the city to have the Spyder roof down. This is the cruise, not the drive.
Sheikh Zayed Road through Downtown
The skyline runs past Burj Khalifa and DIFC. It's heavily monitored and has bad traffic, but drive along the postcard of a drive at midnight and you'll see why people rent here.
Al Qudra Road toward Bab Al Shams
Long, clean, desert flanked and mostly empty in the early morning. The place where the car finally makes sense outside the city.
Hatta Road E44
Roughly 90 minutes from Downtown, climbing into the Hajar Mountains with genuine corners, which are otherwise scarce in the emirate. Confirm the mileage allowance covers the round trip before you set off.

Do I need an International Driving Permit?

Yes. You can travel to any place in the UAE as long as you don't cross the mileage cap. Driving to Oman or Saudi Arabia requires your approval and an additional cross border insurance.
Is insurance included?
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance. There is an excess you remain liable for in the event of an at-fault accident. The excess is stated in the rental agreement and is noted prior to signing. Cover is void for off-road driving, racing, and driving under the influence.
Can I rent a Huracan for one day?
Yes. The minimum rental is 24 hours and the clock starts at delivery. Same day delivery is usually possible if you book before [4 PM] and the car is on the lot.
Does it come with a driver?
The Huracan is self drive only. A chauffeur can be arranged for other vehicles in the fleet if you need to be driven rather than to drive.
