Answers to Common Inquiries About Car Rentals in Dubai

1. What is the minimum age requirement for renting luxury vehicles?

The legal minimum age to rent standard cars in Dubai is 21. To rent an M sports car, drivers must be 23. To rent a large, luxury, high-performance SUV, drivers must be 25. The insurance companies set the minimum age limits.

2. What is the standard daily mileage allowance?

Standard contracts state that tenants can travel 250 km in a day. If you need to travel beyond this limit, it will cost you. The price you will pay is given in your contract and is charged per kilometer.

3. How are security holds and financial terms structured?

All rental costs and insurance details are provided before signing the contract. We authorize holds or security deposits and release them 15 to 21 days after your trip, if there are no traffic or toll violations.

4. How are Salik toll gates and traffic fines processed?

The Emirate of Dubai has an Electronic Toll Collection System known as Salik. Toll crossing costs 5 AED per gate. Violations issued by the RTA are settled electronically, and receipts are issued.

5. Which payment methods are accepted?

We offer a number of flexible payment methods. You can pay with Cash or major foreign currencies (USD/EUR/GBP) as well as major Credit/Debit Cards (Visa/Mastercard/Amex) and Cryptocurrency. We also accept Bank Wire transfers.

6. What is the fuel policy during vehicle handover?

We practice a "Same-to-Same" refueling policy. We dispatch our vehicles with a particular fuel level, be it a half or a full tank. The vehicle should be returned with that same fuel level in order to avoid a refueling charge.

7. Am I allowed to drive across different UAE Emirates?

Yes, movement between all of the Emirates of the UAE is unrestricted. However, according to the insurance regulations of the UAE, you are not permitted to drive through any international borders (e.g. into Saudi Arabia or Oman, etc.).

8. Can I add an additional driver to my agreement?

Yes, we can register a secondary driver on the rental agreement upon presenting a valid driving license and passport/Emirates ID. This will be done prior to the vehicle’s release.

9. What should I do in case of a roadside accident or emergency?

If you are involved in an accident, put your safety first, and yourvehicle’s safety first, and then contact Dubai Police (999) to get a police report. A police report is required for an insurance claim.

10. Do you provide luxury chauffeur services in Dubai?

11. Are child safety seats available upon request?

Yes, UAE traffic laws require certified child safety seats for infants and toddlers, and we can provide one for you during your stay with us for the safety of your family..

12. How does public parking operate for rental cars in Dubai?

Users of paid parking zones in Dubai are required to pay RTA parking fees through SMS or mobile apps.

13. Is direct airport terminal delivery available at DXB?

Yes, our staff will meet you at the arrivals of Terminal 1, 2 or 3 of Dubai International Airport, UAE, at your desired time, 24/7. Our team will meet you once your flight touches down.

14. Can I extend my rental duration after taking delivery?

Yes, we can set up extensions easily. To get it set up, contact our customer support at least 24 hours before your contract ends. We will confirm availability and extend your contract.

15. Is there a grace period for returning the vehicle?

We provide a 1-hour complimentary grace period for returns. Returns made after 1 hour will not be accepted and a fee equal to the daily rental rate will be charged.
