At Golden Key Rent Car, we endeavor to ensure that the car rental process is stress free as much as is reasonably possible. It is necessary to take a few minutes and go through the following information related to the car return policy to make this process as smooth as possible.
1. Return TimeThe car has to be back at some point, at the date and time reflected in your rental agreement.
An extension of 30 minutes for return of books is given in case the student was unable to return them earlier. Then there can be extra charges for a day’s rental fee or may be even more depending on the policies of the company.
2. Early Returns
You are welcome to return the vehicle sooner than the return date you agreed on while booking the car. In addition, consumers won’t be entitled to any refund in the case when they return the car earlier or do not spend all of the rental days that have been paid for.
3. Late Returns
If you have intention of returning the vehicle later than the agreed time you are kindly advised to report to us as early as possible.
Its returns without prior notice may lead to extra charges, which are charged per day basis.
4. Vehicle Condition
A rental car has to be returned in a similar state that it was rented — without any disparity. Kindly make sure the vehicle is clean and it should not have any personal property left inside.
There are also possible extra charges if any part of the car receives paint chips, minor or major scratches, or even interior stains.
5. Fuel Policy
The given vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level with which it was borrowed. If the fuel is found below the required repletion level, refueling fee will be charged.
6. Mileage Limit
Kindly adhere to the agreed rental contract on the number of miles that is acceptable on the vehicle. Going beyond this will attract other charges dependant on the number of kilometers covered above the stated limit.
7. Return Location
The pick up location has to be the same as the drop off location unless other agreements have been made between the provider and the client.
There may be a charge if the car is returned at a site other than the agreed location and without prior notice.
8. After-Hours Returns
In the case whereby you want to return the car at a time that is outside the publicly given business hour, please inform us so as to determine where to drop off the car in a secure manner.
You are still liable for the vehicle until you have returned it to the attendants from the Golden Key Rent Car.
9. Inspection
Upon return, it shall be checked on the degree of damages, cleaning and the amount of fuel in the vehicle. For your information any extra charges if required will be informed to you.
10. Failure to Return
If the hired car is not returned within the stipulated date and time and there are no words from the customer apart from requesting an extension of the hired date, then the company is legally allowed to call for the car as a stolen one.
